Who
Laurent is a passionate nature photographer, seeking to capture the magic of the natural world through his lens. He is also an author who uses words to convey the beauty and wonder he finds in the wilderness. He can often be found on a trail or on a snowy ridge, running or mountaineering, as he explores the great outdoors. Laurent’s roots are in the heart of the Alps, across France and Switzerland, where his love for the mountains and the natural world first blossomed. Through his art and writing, Laurent hopes to inspire others to connect with the natural world and appreciate its beauty and fragility.
Laurent’s photography is infused with an unyielding passion, a profound respect for his subjects, and a meticulous patience. He immerses himself in the natural environment, getting educated, spending countless hours exploring and observing the wildlife, constantly on the lookout for those elusive and serendipitous moments where the essence of nature is unveiled, providing a glimpse into the secrets of the wild.
Laurent’s photography and writing are a powerful invitation to connect with the natural world and appreciate its fragile beauty. Through his work, he serves as a reminder that we are not separate from nature, but rather intimately connected to it. The wonders of nature are not just external to us, but also present within us. His message emphasizes that caring for the natural world is not only essential for the health of the planet and future generations but also for our own physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, as we are part of nature ourselves. There is no alternative to Nature for Mankind.

what
Our mandala, created by the talented Little WeXplorer, is a powerful expression of our identity, values, and aspirations. It encompasses the elements that define us and the world around us: the Earth, the universe, the oceans, the mountains, the stars, the waves, the trees, the roots, the heart, and the energy that flows through all things.
Every intricate detail carries deep meaning and symbolism. Together, they form a complex system that constantly transforms and evolves in an infinite cycle. Each element has its unique place and purpose, contributing to the richness and diversity of the universe.
Although some may seem small or insignificant, every component is integral to the whole. Without them, the universe would be incomplete. Take a moment to contemplate each detail and marvel at its significance. By appreciating the interconnectedness of all things, we can better understand ourselves and our place in the world.

So, what does the WeXplorer do?
This would be the definition we would propose to the language academy:
The WeXplorer is the one who WeXplores.
Wexploring is traveling over new territories for adventure and discovery, watching carefully especially with attention to details and behavior, and establishing relations marked by harmony and affinity.
What is the WeXplorer’s motto?
Explore. Observe. Connect.
Important note: our motto is not only about the outer space. Our approach is certainly more focused on our inner world. Are they so different in any case? Aren’t they simply the same?
How can I become a WeXplorer?
protect your environment
Respecting, protecting, and conserving the environment and animal welfare are our top priorities and take precedence over any other activity conducted in nature. They should be your priorities as well. It is our responsibility to care for wildlife and preserve biodiversity, safeguarding the systems that support life on our planet.
All wildlife photos were taken with utmost care to avoid causing stress to the animals and interfering with their natural life cycles. The animals were captured in their natural habitat, living wild and free.
In all our artistic endeavors, we strive to adhere to the guidelines of prestigious photography competitions such as Wildlife Photographer of the Year or World Press Photo, regarding the accurate representation of nature and image editing. We are also fully committed to following the ethical codes and guidelines of nature photography organizations such as the International Federation of Wildlife Photographers (IFWP).
Our aim is to depict the natural world in an honest and ethical manner through our images. We strive to provide an authentic representation of nature and to remain true to what was originally captured by the camera. Minor digital adjustments have been made to ensure that the reality of nature is not distorted. The only exception is multiple exposure photography which is done in-camera, with the aim of adding a unique dimension to nature photography.
